Humility When It Comes to Mental Health

So here it is, the elephant in the room. Well, there is a topic I have always walked around the bush with. I don't know if it's because I want to look like that Zena, the warrior, the Michelle Obama of my generation for myself or others around me, including family, friends and career. Kevin Love is to be expected to return sooner to the Cleveland Cavaliers and sounding more positive than ever. Especially when you realize how "human" these celebrities we look up to actually are. (Not to avoid the also too real events of violence in our communities, schools, churches etc. that get excused with mental issues or could have been avoided problems.)

Mental health is real. Well, I hope so, we all have brains, feelings and emotions. Sometimes we need people, spirituality and events to recognize and grow from them. I was never cold towards mine, I just felt like the individuals who acted like robots had an advantage. NOT TRUE.

I recently read about Kevin Love and how him being an athlete he felt it wasn't something that was looked at as normal or necessary. Truthfully, it in fact bonds everyone together because we all go through life on different playing fields, stages and moments. Read more of his article in the link below. Share please, we all need to hear his story.
